On Keeping Notes
Placeholder introduction. A few lines to set the temperature of the piece before the reader commits to it.
Placeholder paragraph. The first thought arrives unfinished, and the page is the only place patient enough to hold it while it settles.
Placeholder paragraph. Most of what gets written here is never returned to, which is not a failure — the writing was the thinking, and the thinking was the point.

Keeping the record honest
Placeholder paragraph. A note written to be read later by someone else is a different object entirely; it performs. The useful ones are written to no one.
Placeholder paragraph. What remains, after a year of this, is less an archive of answers than a map of attention — where it went, and what it kept returning to.
